CMS Release

Hi All,

I know it has been awhile since I have posted but what can I say life just keeps happening. But I have a new release for Copic Markers Scrapbooking They were a fun bunch of images to work on so without further ramblings here we go.

This guy has been dubbed Beefcake the Minotaur, I must also say that all the images in this release were created by the very talented Guy Gondron.

The Minotaur was done with the following copics: body: E11, E18, E33, E37, E50, Horns: 100, C0, C3, C7 garments: R000, R29, R46, R50, R59 Axe and boots: BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, BV31, Y28, Y13, Y35

The ground and shading was done with W0, W2, W3.

I hope that was all the colours I used, the background paper I used was wrapping paper that one of my Christmas gifts from my parents was wrapped in.

The Unicorn is the other one I did. I just had to do this one seeing as I love Unicorns and could not resist trying to do it. I used very few colours so here they are: B000, YG11, YG13, YG17 BG07, BV20, BV25, BV29, BV31 and R20

Happy Thanksgiving...

Hi All,

I know that that this week is Turkey day for you guys in the States so I am wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving... ours here in Canada was last month. Phil and I will be enjoying a rare vacation afternoon off together. Maybe we will get some football in...
Well it is time for another Copic Marker Scrapbooking design release. Be sure to stop by to see what the rest of the team has been up to.

Happy Halloween!!!

Good Morning Everyone, Well I am on my way out the door to do a Haunted House with Phil and the kids to raise money for hospitality dinners for shut ins and those who do not have enough food to make a good meal. Tea Time

Good Morning all, I hope everyone is doing well this fine morning. I have been rather busy for the last few weeks. Work has me going crazy and I am now training for a new post! Oh boy, I hope it does not change my hours to much. All will be known by the end of this week with the mini shift bid we will have to do. Ahh well what can we do I am just hoping that I will still be able to have my belated honeymoon in a couple of weeks as they promised me that it would still be honoured. That is good as I had to start this new job I was in till last week 2 days after getting married 2 years ago. But I digress Tonight I am posting my cards that I made for Copic Marker Scrapbooking Go over and take a look at what the design team came up with the cards are amazing!!! So as to not drag it out more then I have to here are my cards for today:

Day at the Circus Card

Good Morning everyone,

I am hoping everyone is having a good day. Today CSM has brought out some new digi images, Circus images. These images are just to cute for words! Hope you like them... Here is the card I made:

The paper I used is just a paper I had hanging around and not real sure where I got it.
Ribbon is one I got from Lens Mills that I could buy by the yard.

Christmas Cards Started!!

Good Morning Everyone,

Well it is official I have started my new Christmas cards. Yup I am getting a jump start, normally I don't start till way closer to Christmas but I am trying something new this year... preparation, neat concept for me.

The image I got was from Just Inked you should go over and check it out they are great images!! So here are the details on this little beauty.

Wedding Box

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I am being showcased on CSM what an honor I sent Colleen the picture of the 3 tier wedding caked I for my parents 59th wedding anniversary. I filled it up with candy for them and they loved it.

Okay so what I used to make this:
Image is from just inked, isn't it fun!
The paper for the tops and bottoms is called Mr & Mrs.
The butterfly's: Color Me Butterflies - these were coloured with LuminArts
Flowers are from the Dollar Store and I misted them with LuminArts

My name is Phil. I am Diane's Man; (or whatever noun you want). I asked to write her Bio. This is my view on her work and I am drinking a beer.
Diane would probably tell you how she comes from a long line of crafty people, (and that's true); but would fail to mention that she believes that all people can create items of beauty or make their lives beautiful through expressions of themselves.

This is what Diane does.

(Lord knows I've got lots of little snippets of beauty the vacuum cleaner hasn't found yet)
What she probable wouldn't tell you is that she is a designer/teacher for a very people first card/stamp/craft shop called "The Rubber Room" in London, Ontario, Canada. She also would fail to mention that she would help anyone with any idea at the drop of the hat; that the simple act of just trying to make something beautiful, gives our lives, meaning. For the everyday person, the concept of beauty is broken down into two perspectives.
Beauty that is of the moment but doesn't last or...
Beauty that creates and in creating, shows the beauty that is.
Which on would you choose?
If you’re looking at this site, I think you know the answer to that question.
My own surprises from Diane's work include the red corset she designed. She gave me that with 2 beer glasses in it for Valentines Day. Now that I didn't expect! I made her dinner. (Now that's original) Mind you, I thought the corset was pretty cool looking and I took it to work to show it off and it got stolen... Now that's a compliment!
When you’re looking over her work look a little deeper. Look at how her shading around the sharp angles or lack of shading in the open spaces to present a greater sense of depth and dimension. Look closely. You wouldn't want to miss something because beauty is all around.
Hey, if you want ugly... watch the news.
But like I said earlier... I am Diane's man and this is my view on her work. I hope you like it as much as I do.
You'll have to pardon me but my 2nd beer is getting warm and that would be a shame.
