Engagement and Wedding Cards

Good Morning all,
This is a quick post to show the new cards I have made. I one day two work friends asked me to make a engagement and wedding card. Here are the the cards I made. I now have to make two more of these for an upcoming wedding. Thank goodness they are so cute. I will edit this post very soon and give the list of copics I used. Here is the engagement card:

and here is the wedding card:

The saying for the wedding card I got from one of the cards from my own wedding and from the engagement card from the net. The images were free downloads and once I find the link again I will post it on here as well.

Have a wonderful day....
Diane

No use..

Hi All,

Well since my last post I have been still wearing the splint most of the time and as of Tuesday I got the okay from the therapist to have it off almost all the time except when gardening or when it is getting sore and tired.

I am hoping to get cards made on a more regular time schedule. So without any more yappin' here is the card I made for my friends birthday. I am going to start keeping more of a record of what copics I am using, but not for this one sorry.

Inside says: It's just another birthday.

I am entering it in the following challenges:

inky impressions challenges - celebration!
digital tuesday challenge  - anything goes
craft your passion challenges - anything goes

Have a great day everyone.
Hugs

Finally the hand has healed...err sorta

Hi All,

Well after 8 weeks of my hand being in a cast/splint I am finally able to use it for something more then a thing to bash my head in my sleep with. I have what is called a gamekeepers thumb, basically I broke the bone in it and I have done some tendon damage.  But the splint is cut down and I am able to colour and decorate my cards. Big YEAH from me.

Tonight I have done a card for my Uncle Guys birthday.  The image is from Mo Manning, I love her images they are so much fun to work with. The saying inside says "Another year older and you still can't dress yourself Oh well happy birthday anyways!  I used copics on it and everything else is from scraps I had already. I do know for sure the green background paper is from my wedding invites and the buttons are from my Mom.... thanks Mom for stocking my craft room :)  I did not write down the colours I used please forgive me I can only do so much. For example it has taken 3 attempts at posting this but every time I am close to done my thumb runs over the mouse pad on the laptop and deletes my whole post. Oh well I finished it now.

I am entering this in the following challenges:
mos digital challenge . This week is Challenge #132 - Favorite Color Combo with Mo Image

CMS Release

Hi All,

I know it has been awhile since I have posted but what can I say life just keeps happening. But I have a new release for Copic Markers Scrapbooking  They were a fun bunch of images to work on so without further ramblings here we go.

This guy has been dubbed Beefcake the Minotaur, I must also say that all the images in this release were created by the very talented Guy Gondron.
The Minotaur was done with the following copics: body: E11, E18, E33, E37, E50, Horns: 100, C0, C3, C7 garments: R000, R29, R46, R50, R59 Axe and boots: BV20, BV23, BV25, BV29, BV31, Y28, Y13, Y35
The ground and shading was done with W0, W2, W3.
I hope that was all the colours I used, the background paper I used was wrapping paper that one of my Christmas gifts from my parents was wrapped in.

The Unicorn is the other one I did. I just had to do this one seeing as I love Unicorns and could not resist trying to do it. I used  very few colours so here they are: B000, YG11, YG13, YG17 BG07, BV20, BV25, BV29, BV31 and R20

I hope you all have a great day and thanks so much for stopping by.
Hugs
